What is a TMD?
Under Australia's design and distribution obligations, product issuers and distributors must publish a TMD for each product. It sets out the target market, the product's key attributes, and the conditions of distribution. Before you take out a policy, we'll give you the PDS and TMD for that product so you can check it's designed for someone in your situation.
